Inspiring artistry: ABH’s vibrant creative community

Eva Maria Tornström
Sculptor and painter
My sculptures and paintings pay tribute to the tradition of equine art. Through my deep passion for these magnificent animals, I have developed a unique style that not only captures the horse’s personality but also places it within a contemporary context. My boundary-pushing and vibrant works create a dialogue between the timeless and the modern.

Elisabeth Ubbe
Photographer
My art, regardless of whether the medium is photography, film or text, is a resistance movement against the overwhelming number of images and ideas that keep us trapped in unequal structures. My goal is to create thoughts and conversations through my artworks—a space where new ideas can grow.

Kristina Blakstad
Painter
I am a fashion designer turned pattern designer, turned farmer, turned artist. I paint everything, from large pieces in oil to watercolors.
I have been working freelance since 1986. Since 2010, my primary focus has been on oil and watercolor paintings, as well as writing.
My motto is ‘Just keep painting’

Ulrica Ullman
Sculptor
With a creative, humorous, and positive approach, each sculpture I craft is the result of a meticulous and passionate process that can take hours, days or even months. Through intricate details and expressive poses, my sculptures capture the essence of emotion and storytelling, inviting viewers to share in my moments of introspection and creation.

ASupernova Studio
Painter
My art is not decorative; it’s conceptual. I aim to capture the spirit of our time, reflecting the rapid pace of change. In my paintings, shiny objects and colorful images hide a secret: the essence of contemporary life. I invite you to look beyond the surface and discover the deeper meaning. My art explores this reality, inviting you to question and reflect.

Lanto Garan
Painter
Painting the imaginary, giving form to the invisible’ is my ambition. Currently, I work with lines, creating art by combining lines and paint. These lines serve as guides on an artisticy and intellectual journey. Through lines, I capture the ephemeral and fleeting, transforming thoughts into images and ideas into forms. I live and create on Réunion Island.

Mikl
Painter
My work explores simplicity and essentiality through an ordinary medium: the blue Bic pen. This choice is central to my artistic approach.I aim to reveal the hidden beauty in the ordinary and show that art can emerge from the mundane. Through my drawings, I play with contrasts, opposing precise lines with the imprecision of ink, and exploring the limits of the medium.

Nadine Pillon
Painter
I work in contemporary figuration, using oil on linen canvas. My main themes are air, water, and plants. I’m constantly searching for light, color, and texture. My goal is to create paintings that breathe beyond their canvas, capturing fleeting moments and the luminous energy through the strokes of my palette knives.

Madeleine Swanström
Painter
I paint nature, animals, and cityscapes, often turning what I encounter on my walks into watercolors.
I also enjoy working on commissions, whether it’s a custom painting or book illustration.
As an artist, writer, and illustrator, I find balance through details, structure, and color. Creativity is my path to independence.

Linnea Sundqvist
Painter
My creativity is like a constant whirlwind, and I always have multiple ideas waiting for their turn to be created.
The inspiration for my works can come from all sorts of places, but I usually use things I see, like an unusual angle of a face or interesting shadows. I want to recreate beautiful moments or important messages and at the same time convey a feeling to the viewer.

Adelheid Ottesen
Paintings and Graphics
I am a Norwegian artist who moved to Sweden in 2021. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bergen, Norway, and have worked for many years as a graphic designer. My art mainly consists of acrylic and mixed media, as well as graphics. In addition to abstract art, I enjoy creating paintings that incorporate words and everyday motifs.

Paméla Karlsson
Painter & sculptor
I’m Paméla K, an artist from Sweden exploring the limitless world of creative expression through painting and sculpture.
My vibrant work reflects my passion for playing with color and form, which I weave into every brushstroke and glass fragment, bringing my visions to life.

Amélie Vogel
Painter
I’ve always been driven by a passion for the arts, from music to painting.
My work explores interactions, whether abstract, urban, or fantasy, between humanity and nature. I let paint (inks, acrylics, oils) guide me, revealing abstract worlds, stones, and floating forms that merge the mineral and organic.

Pia-Veronica Åström
Painter & sculptor
My work explores the physical and mystical dimensions of being, with discovery and process as my guide to meaning.
I navigate internal and external spaces, seeking a poetic or universal translation, always aware of the symbiotic relationship between art and audience.

Iryna Hauska
Sculptor
I am a textile artist with university-level art studies.
The threads in my hand-crocheted works weave inward, exploring the hidden depths of the body’s dark corners. Blood, heart, and mind shape both color and form.
The bodies I create live alone, each with their own pains and struggles.

Heike Ahrends
Painter
My paintings are created with playful spontaneity. They are the result of years of daily practice.
The surface of each painting is as individual as the face of a person who has lived a long and happy life.
The motifs are universal, strongly reduced poetic moments.
